Meaning
Light-shedding, radiance-scattering, luminous.
Literally: Arabic ziya (light) + Persian -bar (raining/scattering): scattering light.
How Iqbal uses it
Zia-bar describes that which scatters radiance abroad; it fits Iqbal's ideal of the self that does not hoard its light but pours it out, illuminating the world around it.
