How Iqbal uses it
Jurat is the courage to attempt what fear forbids, to step forward where others hold back. Iqbal celebrates daring as the temper of the living self and even of true faith: he admires the audacity that questions, dares, and overreaches rather than the timidity that waits for permission. For him boldness, even in error, is closer to life than safe inaction.
