Meaning
A grain or seed, a single kernel of corn; also the bait scattered for birds.
Usage & notes
The daana is both the fertile seed that holds a whole harvest and the tempting bait the fowler scatters near his snare. Iqbal can use it for hidden potential waiting to grow or for the small lure by which the free bird is caught.
