Meaning
"All is He" — the pantheistic formula of unqualified monism.
Literally: all is He
Usage & notes
Hama-oost, 'all is He,' is the pantheist slogan Iqbal expressly rejected as dissolving the world and the self into God. He preferred the corrective hama az oost, 'all is from Him,' which keeps God and creation, Creator and self, distinct.
