Wahdat-ul-Wujood
The doctrine of the Unity of Being, that all existence is a single reality identical with God.
Literally: the unity / oneness of being
The metaphysics, associated above all with Ibn Arabi, that all existence is ultimately one reality — God — of which the world is the self-disclosure. Iqbal engaged it deeply but grew critical of its tendency, as popularly received, to blur the distinction between Creator and creature and to encourage a self-dissolving quietism. He generally favoured the corrective wahdat-ush-shuhud, which preserves the reality and responsibility of the individual self.
Hama-Oost
"All is He" — the pantheistic formula of unqualified monism.
Wahdat
Oneness or unity, especially the singular reality of the Divine.
Wujood
Being, existence; a central term of mystic metaphysics, as in wahdat-al-wujood, the unity of being.
Wahdat-ush-Shuhood
The doctrine of the Unity of Witnessing, that the unity perceived is one of consciousness, not of being, leaving God and creation distinct.
Fana
Annihilation, passing away; the mystic's extinction of the self in the Beloved, the goal of the Sufi path.
Tanzeeh
The declaration of God's absolute transcendence above any likeness to creation.
