Nasha is the 'high', the rush of intoxication — and in the mystical idiom the exhilaration of divine love that lifts the seeker above ordinary perception. It names the felt charge of grace, the headiness that comes of drinking love. Iqbal favours the nasha that energises and clarifies the self over any that merely befuddles, the high that turns into vision and resolve.
