Literally: From the Arabic root r-d-w, to be pleased or willing.

How Iqbal uses it

In the most famous couplet of Khudi, Iqbal imagines the self so exalted that, before every decree, God Himself asks the servant 'tell me, what is your raza', your will, fusing human and divine purpose.
