“Faiz, the road in its entirety was itself the destination — wherever we reached, we arrived having succeeded.”

The verse in Devanagari — it carries the authenticity of the original, and every Hindi reader can read it.

The Interpretation
The couplet dissolves the usual gap between road and destination — the entire journey was itself the goal. The consequence is liberating: wherever the traveller stopped, he had already arrived successful. It reframes success as something carried along the way rather than waited for at the end.
For You, Today
Stop measuring your life by a finish line — if the road itself is the destination, you are already arriving everywhere you go.
A signature maqta in which Faiz turns the whole journey into the achievement, leaving no failed stop possible.
