The Interpretation
A short couplet that works entirely as an act of forgiveness. The first line imagines unseen pressures behind a betrayal; the second states, almost as law, that faithlessness never comes from nothing. Badr refuses the easy verdict and looks for the human story underneath.
For You, Today
Before you condemn someone who let you down, allow that you may not know the weight they were carrying.
Its enduring popularity comes from how it grants grace to the very person who has wronged you.
